If a mermaid this ugly popped out of the water beside my boat, I'd probably wet my pants. Besides the fact that this old gal looks a lot like the creature form the Never Ending Story, it's also a signature Art Nouveau design. Columbia was made in 1893 for the Chicago Worlds fair. It was also called the Columbia exposition which celebrated the 400th anniversary of Christopher Columbus's landing in America. 

This Columbia spoon Ring was handmade by me from a reallio trullio teaspoon in the back of my 2 story shack.
